# Privacy

Effective September 24, 2026. Updated October 29, 2026. Short version: we keep your email to send the newsletter, and we count visits without cookies.

## Who we are

## What we collect

When you subscribe we keep your email address, the edition you chose (English or Spanish), the page you signed up from and the time. We use it only to send Frontera Signal and to reply to you. If you write to us through the contact form, we keep your name, email and message to answer you. Paid reports are paid by card through Stripe, our payment processor. We receive your name, email and billing country, never your full card number.

Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested to deliver the site and block abuse, and keeps standard security logs.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages people read, where visits come from (the referring site and the country), what device and browser they use, and how fast pages load. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not follow you to other websites. We see totals only; no individual reader is visible to us. Visits from the European Union are not counted.

## What we do not collect

The site has no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no session recording and no ad networks. The only outside script is Cloudflare's visit counter described above. Our fonts are served from our own host, so loading a page sends nothing to Google or anyone else.

## Tracking and Do Not Track

No third party collects information about your activity on this site over time or across other websites. The visit counter cannot identify you, so we treat every visitor the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

## Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your email or share it for advertising. The list is stored with our hosting and email providers, who process it only on our behalf. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

## How long we keep it

We keep your subscription until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only what we need to honor the unsubscribe. Security logs and visit counts are kept as long as our host keeps them.

## Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we process unsubscribes right away. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your information by writing to [hello@fronterasignal.com](mailto:hello@fronterasignal.com). We answer within 30 days. If you write from Mexico or elsewhere, the same rights (access, correction, deletion and objection) apply.

## Children

Frontera Signal is written for people who run and finance Valley businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

## Security and changes

The site runs only over HTTPS with strict security headers. If a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities as Texas law requires. If we change this policy we will post it here with a new date, and email subscribers before any material change.
